Hervé de Crécy is a multidisciplinary director whose career spans music videos, high-profile advertising, and animation. He first gained recognition with the Parisian collective H5, creating visuals for the French electronic scene and co-directing MTV Award-winning videos for Massive Attack and Goldfrapp. As a commercial director, he has helmed major campaigns for premium global brands including Nike, Audi, Louis Vuitton, Coca-Cola and Nissan.
In 2009, their animated short film Logorama won the Kodak Prize at Cannes, a César Award, and the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film. After leaving H5, he co-directed the live-action short Ghost Recon Alpha for Ubisoft—produced by Ridley Scott Associates—and has since continued to direct major campaigns for clients such as Renault, Milka, and Peugeot. Currently based in Switzerland, he is now developing his first animated feature film.
