Marc Ortiz +BIO
He first studied Art History and then continued his education in Cinematography and Directing at ESCAC (Catalonia Superior School of Cinematography and Audiovisual). Since then he has filmed numerous videoclips, short films and worked in the Advertising Industry. With his short film The XOw he obtained great national and international recognition (18 Festival de Cine de Málaga, Milano Design Film Festival, 12 FMK International Short Film). As an advertising director, he has worked for brands such as Vodafone, Atresmedia, Munich, Adidas, Audi, ING, Banco Popular, Vichy Catalán, Polaroid, Óptica Universitaria and more. Especially noteworthy is the Madrid Fusión Spot, The Man With Two Mouths, with which he won many awards, like Bronze for Digital in El Sol Festival, Silver for best Direction and for Idea in FIAP, Light Grey Award in New York Festivals World's Best Advertising and Short Shorts Film Festival Asia, Tokyo (official selection).
